Employment

Students should refer to the Department of Home Affairs (Home Affairs) for advice on their allowable hours in which they can gain employment and paid work.
Currently, as an international student, you can work 48 hours per fortnight (two weeks). Students have the opportunity to obtain part-time employment during the study periods and can seek full-time employment during the study period breaks.

Transport

Transperth provides bus, train, and ferry services throughout Perth and its surrounding areas. The fare system is based on zones and time limits. Typically, a single fare allows you to travel within a certain distance from your starting point, on any combination of bus, train, or ferry services, until the time limit expires. Our campuses is located within the Free Transit Zone (for buses) and the SmartRider Free Transit Zone (for trains) in the Perth city area. We are just a 15 minute walk from Perth Central train station and only 6 minutes from McIver train station. There are bus stops right outside the College, and the Yellow CAT bus stops at a point that is a 5-minute walk from Wellington Street campus.
